The "6th International Interdisciplinary Chaos Symposium on Chaos and Complex Systems (SCCS2025)," hosted by Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School on May 8–10, 2025, was successfully completed with the participation of academicians and researchers from 21 different countries.

The symposium, which focused on an interdisciplinary scientific approach, brought together current research on chaos theory and complex systems from a wide range of fields, including physics, engineering, artificial intelligence, biology, economics, and social sciences. The three-day event offered a rich and intensive program with main sessions, simultaneous presentations, poster sessions, and scientific discussion platforms.

Opening Ceremony and Main Sessions

The symposium began with the opening ceremony, attended by Istanbul Kültür University Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, Honorary President Prof. Dr. Tamer Koçel, and Co-President Prof. Dr. Stavros G. Stavrinides and Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özer.

Following the first day, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Kurths from Humboldt University attracted attention with his presentation on stability against strong perturbations in energy systems. On the second day, Prof. Dr. Klaus Mainzer presented a visionary perspective with his presentation examining the relationship between artificial intelligence and complex systems. Prof. Dr. Claudio Mirasso and Prof. Dr. Fernando Corinto discussed the role of chaos and complexity in today's technological transformations. On the last day of the symposium, Prof. Dr. Costas Demetzos, President of the Hellenic Pharmaceutical Society, contributed to the event with his presentation on pharmaceutical complexity.

The “Cultural Memory of Sustainable Cities” exhibition, organized in cooperation with Istanbul Kültür University Sustainable Development Center (IKU SÜRKAM) and Fine Arts Application and Research Center, was opened on Wednesday, May 14th at IKUSAG Exhibition Hall. The opening speeches of the exhibition were made by our Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe and our Vice Rector & SÜRKAM Coordinator Prof. Dr. Burcu Yavuz Tiftikçigil.

The exhibition, which consists of photographs reflecting Türkiye’s cultural heritage items included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List and Creative Cities Network, aims to offer visitors an impressive perspective on Türkiye’s cultural memory.

The exhibition can be visited until May 28, 2025, at IKUSAG Exhibition Hall in the Ataköy building, Bakırköy Campus.

The “10th Interuniversity Dance Festival”, organized within the scope of the “Art Tunnel 2025” by Istanbul Kültür University Dance Club, provided a captivating experience for art enthusiasts on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025. The festival, which was the product of months of meticulous preparetion, was organized this year with the aim of raising social awareness for the benefit of women who were victims of violence and children who were victims of abuse. Throughout the event, there were unforgettable moments showing that dance is not only about aesthetic but also an expression of stance.

The festival, the third and biggest event of the Art Tunnel this year, created a storm of art on the stage with the participation of dance teams from universities in Istanbul. A great student consortium took part in this huge organization that ranged from theatre to cinema, music to dance. Especially the dedication of IKU Dance Club, both on stage and backstage, waws the most important element that revealed the spirit of the festival.

The Unifying Power of Art Was Revealed at this Festival

The festival was moderated by Mert Efe Anğın from the Dean of Students Office Kültür Point, who is also Administrative Advisor of the Dance Club, and Aylin Öcal, President of the Dance Club. The opening speech emphasized that “Today we are not just dancing, we are celebrating the coming together of solidarity and the healing art.”

Twenty different dance teams took the stage during the festival, performing a wide variety of styles from Hip Hop to Latin, K-pop to High Heels. Each performance was crowned with applause and sentimental moments. The event also featured special VTRs that told the story of the dance teams’ efforts over a year.

Istanbul Kültür University Design Factory hosted the "AntsFusion" event, which was held for the second time this year. More than twenty independent game studios showcased their latest projects at the event held on Thursday, May 8. More than thirty cosplay artists added colour to the event, which was visited by over a thousand gamers. Participants experienced games, encountered creative worlds, and made unforgettable memories. This event, combined with the energy of Design Factory, inspired young talents and digital culture.

Istanbul Kültür University Theatre Club brought the striking life story of Italian philosopher, priest, astronomer and occultist Giordano Bruno to the stage. The theatre play “Giordano Bruno” met with the audience on Monday, May 12th at Istanbul Kültür University Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center.

The play, which focuses on the resistance of a thinker who pursues the truth against the Inquisition, not only presented the audience with a portrait of a historical personality but also made them think about universal themes such as freedom of thought, courage and intellectual struggle. The production, staged with the original interpretation of IKU Theatre Club, attracted great interest from university students and academicians.

The play was also brought to the stage as part of the “39th Young Days”, one of Türkiye’s most established youth theatre festivals organized by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Theatres. On Wednesday, May 14th, “Giordano Bruno” met with the audience once again at the Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Theatre, and the performances of young actors and the stage design were also appreciated by professional theatre circles.

With the play, IKU Theatre Club once again made visible both the intellectual depth and the connection that young people establish with art through performance arts. The members of the club stated that they will continue to carry out such projects in terms of social awareness and artistic production.

Drawing attention with her competence and productivity in the art world, our Head of the Department of Arts and Cultural Management, Assoc. Prof. Reyhan Uludağ’s 20th solo exhibition, “Digital Little Human and Tell Me About Your Line,” will meet art lovers at the G&G Art Center White Mansion on Saturday, May 17. The exhibition, which will continue until May 31, includes works made on canvas, three-dimensional works, and digital works. Assoc. Prof. Uludağ aims to take viewers on a different journey through these works.

As part of the exhibition, a talk and book signing will be held for the book Sanataevet by famous actor Tamer Levent, published by Artshop Publishing, on Saturday, May 24. In addition, a video installation and performance show by theatre artist Ozan Fırat will meet with art lovers under the guidance of curator Mojgan Dolatabadi.

Assoc. Prof. Reyhan Uludağ aims to transform this exhibition process into a collective structure. By coming together with many art consultants in joint invitations, she aims to make the exhibition process as interactive as possible.

The artist's paintings feature the concept of freedom, city silhouettes, skyscrapers, and modern city life. She sometimes uses the figure of a rearing horse and sometimes the symbol of a ballerina to reflect the theme of freedom. The figures she calls "little people" are repeated intensively on city silhouettes, creating a texture. These figures symbolize urban chaos and loneliness in crowds. Assoc. Prof. Uludağ’s works consist of stacks of lines. This density visually reflects the chaos in urban life. The artist creates a harmony born of contrasts by applying these elements that carry negative connotations with vibrant, bright, and positive colours. She develops a unique technique by creating amorphous, visible, and hand-made textures on the surface of the painting. The artist, who has won awards abroad with this unique technique, aims to draw attention to the two most fundamental problems of our age by questioning human and natural rights in her works.

Assoc. Prof. Uludağ has exhibited successfully on international platforms by participating in 20 personal exhibitions in Türkiye and 3 abroad, and in nearly 100 national and international mixed and juried exhibitions, biennials, workshops, symposiums, and congresses.

The photography exhibition, titled "Chaotic Traces of Light" held within the scope of the "6th International Interdisciplinary Chaos Symposium on Chaos and Complex Systems" hosted by Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School, offered the audience the opportunity to explore the aesthetic dimension of chaos theory. 

In the exhibition prepared by Lecturer Nesil Türkyılmaz, the concepts of randomness and invisible order in chaotic systems were transformed into a visual language by following the traces of light with the long exposure technique. The exhibition opened the door to both a scientific and artistic intellectual field with an interdisciplinary approach.

Each photo frame reflects the moments when the elements of movement, time and energy merge, reinterpreting the complex structure of nature through light. The exhibition, which deals with the thin boundary between uncertainty and order of chaos theory with an aesthetic perspective, gave the viewers a visual journey of thought.

The exhibition met with symposium participants and art lovers at Istanbul Kültür University Bakırköy campus Ataköy building on May 9-10, 2025.

Ada Arıkan, one of our students from the Department of English Language Teaching, who participated in the Turkish University Sports Federation (TÜSF) Interuniversity Fencing Championship competitions, ranked third in Türkiye. We would like to thank our student, who brought a bronze medal to our university, for making us proud, and wish her continued success.

The New Media and Communication Club organized the “2nd MediaVision Summit” in order to discuss current developments in the field of media and communication, and to create a space for interaction between students, industry professionals and alumni. At the summit held at Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center on Tuesday, May 6th at 11.00 withthe participation of content producers, expert speakers and our alumni, up-to-date information about the media world and inspiring career stories were shared with students.

Tuğçe Celayir, Principal Researcher of CRISPR-GEM Project AX3 Mission and PhD student of Boğaziçi University IMBIYOTAB, made a seminar presentation titled “Turkish Astronaut and Science Mission: CRISPR-GEM Project” at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics on Wednesday, May 15, 2025. As the project manager of the “CRISPR-GEM” experiment conducted by Alper Gezeravcı, the first astronaut that Türkiye sent into space, on the International Space Station, Celayir shared the details of gene editing studies in plants in microgravity and their scientific goals in this field. Celayir also touched upon research topics such as the effects of UV-B rays on plants and the protective role of silicone, inspiring the participants with both her academic knowledge and visionary perspective. We thank her once again and wish her continued success in her career.

Organized within the scope of the "6th International Symposium on Chaos and Complex Systems" hosted by Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School, the exhibition titled "Chaos and Complex Systems: Dynamic Reflections of Art" met with the audience at the intersection of science and art.

Prepared under the coordination of Assist. Prof. Emin Sansarcı and Lecturer Ilgın Özer from the Program of Graphic Design, the exhibition reveals how chaotic structures and complex systems hidden in the depths of nature are interpreted through artistic productions with a multidisciplinary approach.

The exhibition includes 20 digitally applied print posters, 13 manually applied poster works, and 5 motion teasers. The works bring the unique rhythm, multi-layered structure, and unpredictability of complex systems to artistic language in a wide framework ranging from fractal patterns to non-linear dynamic processes.

Inspired by the infinitely repeating patterns of fractals, the works present an aesthetic perspective on the holistic structure of the universe, from micro to macro. The ability of small differences to create great effects in chaotic systems is handled uniquely by the artists.

The exhibition was opened to visitors at the Ataköy building of the Istanbul Kültür University Bakırköy campus on May 9–10, 2025. This special exhibition, where scientific concepts meet art, attracted great attention from both symposium participants and art lovers.

With the support of Istanbul Kültür University Department of International Trade and Finance, the Green For Youth team, which is led by high school students from various provinces of Türkiye, organized a “Sustainability Summit” on Saturday, May 3rd at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building, Bakırköy Campus.

At the congress, where Deputy Head of the Department of International Trade and Finance Assist. Prof. N. Elif Küçük delivered the opening speech, Assist. Prof. Meri Taksi Deveciyan, one of our academicians from the Department of International Trade and Finance, delivered a motivational speech.

As the guest speakers, Şerif Kaynar, Çağan Özcan, Alp Eren Sarar participated at the “Inspiration and Development” session, Asiye Bahar Tabanlı, Aslı Dede, Pelin Karagöz Hüner participated at the “Sustainability and Entrepreneurship” session, and Hakan Tekcandan and Fahri Emre Reçber participated at the “Education and Technology” session.

The day-long summit included activities such as sponsor stands, recycling workshops and dance performances. The summit, organized by high school students with sustainability awareness, was completed with a very high participation rate.

The first day of the "SineKültür Interuniversity Short Film Festival," organized by the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema for the sixth time this year, began with a remarkable workshop. In the workshop held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in the 1st floor multi-purpose hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus, makeup artist Hazal Tanrıverdi shared special effects and prosthetic makeup techniques with the participants.

While Tanrıverdi touched on many topics—from the types of make-up used in cinema to examples of special effects used in horror movies—she also shared her experiences with practical examples from the projects she worked on. During the workshop, the development of prosthetic makeup was also discussed, with examples from film history.

The most interesting part of the workshop, which progressed interactively with the students’ questions, was the prosthetic make-up samples that Tanrıverdi brought to the presentation. The participants had the opportunity to examine these samples closely and showed great interest.

The workshop, which was held in two sessions, ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation and a memorial plate to Hazal Tanrıverdi.

Within the scope of the Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture 2024-2025 Spring Semester Conferences, our university hosted Architect Hakan Demirel. On Tuesday, May 13th, Hakan Demirel shared his professional experiences and projects with the students at the conference held at the Design Factory in the Ataköy building, Bakırköy Campus. Demirel, who has achieved many national and international successes, presented three projects, which were listened with interest by the students.

Istanbul Kültür University Men's Football Team, took part in the Inter-University Regional Second League Football Tournament within the scope of the Turkish University Sports Federation (TÜSF) Activity Program and finished with four wins, one draw and one defeat out of six matches in its group. With these results, our students finished second in their group and made it to the quarterfinals. We would like to congratulate our Men's Football Team, which will compete against Yeni Yüzyıl University for the semifinals on May 20, 2025, and wish them continued success.

The second day of the "SineKültür Interuniversity Short Film Festival," organized for the sixth time this year by the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, concluded with the screening of finalist films and a special talk event. A total of 13 finalist short films—seven fiction and six documentaries—met with moviegoers at the screening program held at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus on Thursday, May 15, 2025. The productions, which stand out with different narrative techniques and themes, opened the doors to a rich and thought-provoking world for the audience.

Following the screenings, The Last Erkan Can Short Film, directed by Utku Bildirgen, met with the audience. Bildirgen sincerely answered the questions of the moderators and students in the interview held after the film. He touched on many topics—from the production process of the short film to the difficulties it faced, from his independent production experiences to his sectoral observations—and offered important advice, especially for young filmmakers. He emphasized that a strong script is the basis of a successful film production.

The enjoyable and informative talk ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative plate to Utku Bildirgen.

The "Red Crescent Blood Donation" event was held by Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Dean of Students Office in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Within the scope of the event organized in cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent, our volunteer students and academic and administrative staff donated blood.

Red Crescent officials ensured that volunteers who wanted to donate blood were first screened for health. After a detailed evaluation of the volunteers' health conditions, blood was taken from those who were deemed suitable for donation.

Assist. Prof. Aysam Akses, one of our academicians from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, gave a seminar on “Engineering Education and Work Life” on Friday, May 9th at the 2nd floor multi-purpose seminar hall in the Ataköy building, Bakırköy Campus.

In cooperation with Istanbul Kültür University Graduate Education Institute and the Department of International Trade and Finance, the “Alumni Talk” event was held on Thursday, May 8 at the Küçükçekmece Campus Conference Hall.

IKU Psychology Master’s student Clinical Psychologist Damla Şevval Erkent, who graduated from Istanbul Kültür University Department of International Trade and Finance as the valedictorian in 2019, and Istanbul Kültür University 2023 E-Logistics Master’s graduate Bülent Karakoyunlu, General Manager at Cold Truck Log, attended the event as the guest speakers. In addition to studying at the Department of International Trade and Finance, our graduates also shared their experiences about doing their master’s degree at IKU and inspired our students.

LÖSEV representative Burkay Avcı held the “LÖSEV Benefit Project” seminar at the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema on Monday, May 12, 2025. In his speech, Avcı focused on developing social responsibility awareness, spreading the culture of volunteering, and creating awareness about cancer. Sharing the steps LÖSEV has taken since its establishment, he provided comprehensive information about the success rate in treatment, which has increased from 20 percent to 94 percent, the hospitals and training centers that have been opened, and the social responsibility projects that are being carried out.

Encouraging students to volunteer, Avcı emphasized that international organizations in particular consider it an important indicator that young people who want to pursue a career abroad have taken part in social responsibility projects.

At the end of the seminar, Avcı distributed voluntary participation forms to the students, and the event ended after the question-answer session.

The Women's Solidarity Club organized a panel titled "Women at Work, Power at Work" on Wednesday, May 7 in the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall at the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus. In the event, attended by officials from the Women at Work Association, in-depth discussions were held on the inequalities faced by women in business life, glass ceiling syndrome, gender-based prejudices and how to overcome these difficulties. Our guests shared their experiences through their own career stories, the obstacles they faced and how solidarity is a source of strength in this process with our students.

Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School organized an event titled "DGS and International Trade: Steer Your Career" on Monday, May 12, 2025 at lecture hall 1A-01 at the Bakırköy campus, Incirli building. Department of International Trade and Finance academicians Assoc. Prof. Nebile Korucu Gümüşoğlu, Assist. Prof. N. Elif Küçük and Assist. Prof. Didem Kayalıdereden attended the event as speakers. The event, in which the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) process and what awaits the students afterwards were discussed in detail, was moderated by Lecturer Tülay Ölmez.

The participants, who were informed about many issues from the DGS application process to the changes that can be experienced in the transition to undergraduate education, also had the opportunity to listen to tips on how to build a career in the field of international trade.

The event ended after the question and answer session.

The Department of Educational Sciences Program of Guidance and Psychological Counseling organized an "Alumni Panel" event on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 14.00 on the CATS platform. Our alumni Cansel Kırım, Meral Güner Dalyan and Uğur Koç, who attended the event as speakers, shared their post-graduation experiences with our students.

The Program of Tourism and Hotel Management and Marriott International organized a panel titled "The Future of Tourism" on Monday, May 12, at 11:00 in the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus. Marriott Şişli General Manager Recep Özdemir, JW Marriott Marmara Sea General Manager Okan Karadağ, JW Marriott Ankara General Manager Dr. Hakan Arslan, and Delta Hotels Istanbul West & Renaissance İzmir Hotel Revenue Director Özge Özgüveni Şen participated as speakers in the event, where new trends in tourism, luxury tourism, revenue management, and sustainability were discussed.

The “Boardgame Mayjam’25” event organized by the Department of Digital Game Design offered our students an intense and instructive experience. In this game production and education marathon held between May 10-12, our students both learned theoretical knowledge through workshops and talks on game design and gained hands-on experience by preparing board game prototypes. Atakan Cankorur, CEO and Game Designer of Arvis Games, who participated in the event within the scope of the “GameTalks  9”, made a great contribution to the students with his presentation titled “Boardgame Design Process” by talking about the boardgame production process they went through with Arvis Games from start to finish.

Throughout the event, students worked day and night to turn their creative ideas into games. Students had the opportunity to explain their projects by receiving feedback on their finished games in the jury session held on Monday, May 12. In addition to our faculty members, Dr. Mehmet Şükrü Kuran was also among the jury members. Dr. Kuran, who played and evaluated each game separately, shared his valuable comments with the students.

Students participating in the event shared their experiences in the board game design process and had the opportunity to experience first-hand how creative thinking and teamwork contribute to game design.

The Construction Club organized an event titled “Civil Vision 25” on Tuesday, May 6, between 10.00-15.00 at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building, Bakırköy Campus. Hasan Can Özdemir, Design and R&D Director at Arx Smart Minds, Sinan Türkkan, Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Artyol, and Entrepreneur Sait Gürdap Babuç from Loya Group, participated as the guest speakers at the event, which aimed to bring together the visions that will shape the future in the field of Civil Engineering, to share current developments in the sector with students and to build a bridge between academia and the world of practice.

Within the scope of the “Workshop II” course conducted by Prof. Dr. Esin Kasapoğlu and Assoc. Prof. Gamze Alptekin from the Department of Architecture, the building of the Chamber of Architects Istanbul Metropolitan Branch in Karaköy was visited on Tuesday, May 6th. Within the scope of the visit, the history and mission of the Chamber of Architects were first presented by Mücella Yapıcı, a member of the “Commission for the Protection and Development of Cultural Heritage. Afterwards, Ahmet Erkan, Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Architects, and Assistant Secretaries Senanur Kevser Göksoy, Berfin Aydemir, and Rümeysa Kutuban shared information about the activities organized by the Chamber of Architects and the implementations intended for students. At the last stage of the visit, the chamber building was toured, and our students made their registrations as student members of the Chamber of Architects.

Serhan Erke, one of our 2016 alumni, participated as a speaker in the seminar organized on Monday, May 12 as part of the “IE6404-Production Planning and Control” course given in the Department of Industrial Engineering.

A seminar titled “Selected Topics in Combinatoric Topology” was given by Assoc. Prof. Alper Ülker, a faculty member of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences, on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, between 15:00 and 16:30, at the Erdal İnönü Seminar Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus.

Emir Akbay, one of our Industrial and Organizational Psychology Master's Program students, presented his study titled “The Relationship of Paternalistic Leadership with Imposter Syndrome”, which he conducted with his thesis advisor Assoc. Prof. Dilek Işılay Üçok, as an oral presentation at the “2nd Industrial and Organizational Psychology Congress” held at Çukurova University between 2-4 May 2025.

The Department of International Trade and Finance organized a “Cupcake Coffee Day” event on Wednesday, May 14th at 14.00 on the ground floor of Küçükçekmece Campus. In the event, where presentations of the posters prepared by our students in the “Social Responsibility Project” courses were exhibited, the certificates of the project realized with DHBW, one of our Erasmus+ partner universities, were presented and our athletes were given a certificate of appreciation. While eating “cupcakes” with coffee, the participants chatted and evaluated the academic year.

A seminar titled “Meet the Power of Mathematics and Technology!” was organized by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 13:00 in the 2nd floor multi-purpose seminar hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus.

The "Traditional 19 May Atatürk March" event will be organized within the scope of the "19 May Atatürk Commemoration, Youth and Sports Day" celebrations in cooperation with the Atatürkist Thought Club and the Atatürk Principles and Revolution History Research and Application Center (ATAMER). A bus will depart from the front door of the Bakırköy campus Ataköy building at 09:30 for the walk to be held in the Belgrade Forest on Saturday, May 17.

The Department of Basic Education will organize the "Florya Atatürk Forest Technical Trip: Environmental Education in Early Childhood" on Monday, May 19, at 11:00 in order to support teacher candidates in developing environmental awareness by allowing them to experience examples of interactive applications with nature.

Orchestra IKU will give a concert at Bakırköy Municipality Cumhuriyet Square on Monday, May 19th at 18.30 as part of the “May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day”.

The Program of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology will organize a trip to Arçelik-LG Air Conditioning Industry and Trade Inc. on Tuesday, May 20, between 08:30–15:00 in order to show students the information they have learned in theory in practice.

The Department of Psychology will organize an "Alumni Day" event for our alumni to share their experiences with our students. The Department of Economics will organize an "Alumni Panel" to enable our alumni to share their experiences with our students. The event, where our alumni Bilge Yıldız, Volkan Özcan, Berfin Şilan Ay and Dargül Kereçin will be the speakers, will be held on Tuesday, May 20 at 13.00 at the Conference Hall of the Küçükçekmece Campus.

The Department of Communication and Design will organize a trip to the Istanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture on Tuesday, May 20, between 14.30-20.30 to provide students with in-depth information about Contemporary Turkish Art.

Istanbul Kültür University Department of Psychology will bring our students together with experts of Sone Psychology, one of its external stakeholders. Clinical Psychologist Refika Çavuşoğlu from Sone Psychology will give a seminar on "Child and Parent Interviews" on Tuesday, May 20, between 18.00-19.30 on the CATS platform.

In order to support the artistic development of students, increase their motivation and strengthen social interaction within the university, the Dean of Students Office Kültür Point will organize a “Spring Concert” on Tuesday, May 20 at 20.30 in the backyard of the Bakırköy campus Ataköy building. Pera music group will give a concert at the event and Orchestra IKU stage and DJ performances will meet our students.

Program of Public Relations and Publicity will organize a talk titled "Creativity in Digital Advertising: From Idea to Practice" to discuss examples of digital advertising practices in the industry. The event, where Gojob Agency Founder Selman Doğrusözlü, YouthSide Co-Founder Semih Gümüş and FPPRO President Osman Şamlı will be speakers, will be held on Wednesday, May 21 at 12:00 in the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall at the Bakırköy Campus Ataköy building.

In order to support students' career planning processes, the Vocational School will organize a talk titled "Inspired by Experience: On Career, Development and Life." The event, where Ömer Barbaros Yiş, General Manager of Karaca International, will be a speaker, will be held on Wednesday, May 21 at 13.00 in the lecture hall 1A-01 of the Bakırköy Campus İncirli building.

In cooperation with the English Literature Society and the Gender Equality Club, the play "Tristram Shandy" will be staged on Wednesday, May 21, between 14.00-16.00 in the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center at the Bakırköy campus Ataköy building.

The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics will organize an "Alumni Day" event to enable our alumni to share their experiences with our students. The event, where our alumni Zehragül Ergül Yüksel, İlayda Kumru, Dilara Kazancı and Ezgi Alpaslan will be the speakers, will be held on Wednesday, May 21 at 14.30 in the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall at the Bakırköy campus Ataköy building.

The Department of English Language and Literature will organize an "Alumni Panel" where our students will come together with our alumni working in different sectors. The event, in which Res. Assist. Deniz Yıldız from Atlas University and 23 Studios Production Manager Arda Can Coşkun will be the speakers, will be held on Wednesday, May 21 at 15.00 in the Erdal İnönü Seminar Hall at the Bakırköy campus Ataköy building.

The ELT Club will organize a trip to Florya Atatürk Marine Mansion and Social Facilities on Thursday, May 22, between 10.00-15.00 to increase students' cultural awareness and historical knowledge through on-site observation and improve their group interaction skills.

In cooperation with the Department of Foreign Languages Education and ELT Club, an “Alumni Panel” will be organized for our graduates to share their experiences with our students. Çağla Yıldız, English Teacher at Münir Tınaztepe Anatolian High School, and Irmak Tali, Lecturer at IKU School of Foreign Languages, will be the guest speakers at the event, which will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at 14.00 at the Z-16 Conference Hall on Küçükçekmece Campus.

The Department of Special Education will organize a visit to Türkan Sabancı Secondary School for the Blind on Friday, May 23rd at 10.00 in order to provide students with information and experience about visually impaired individuals and their educational environments.

In cooperation with the International Relations Unit and Dance Club, the “International Day” event will be organized. The event, where our students from different cultures will introduce their own cultures and present the local dishes they have prepared, will be held on Friday, May 23rd between 11.00-18.00 at the backyard of the Ataköy building, Bakırköy Campus.

The event, Lecturer Dr. Aras Yolusever from the Department of Economics, will be a speaker, will be held on Friday, May 23 at 11:00 at the Conference Hall of the Küçükçekmece Campus.
